Send a Soldier to fight for you in Austin.

For me, the mission is simple:
uphold the Constitution, protect the People’s liberty,

and stop government from doing what it has no authority to do.

I will always place the mission first.

REPRESENTATION, NOT PERFORMANCE

Consultants write slogans.

Career politicians give speeches.
Lobbyists get meetings.

I answer to the People.

I don’t hide behind staff, filters, or handlers.
If you want to talk to me — really talk —

I’m accessible.

I’m not running to build a brand.
I’m running to do the job the Constitution requires — and stop everything it doesn’t.

Results over rhetoric.
Duty over ambition.
Texas over politics.

LTC Dewey Collier (Ret.) for Texas House District 5
End Property Taxes. Support Teachers. Enforce the Constitution.

Who is Dewey Collier?

Dewey Collier is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel running for Texas House District 5, which includes Titus, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Wood, and part of Smith County.

This campaign is focused on ending property taxes on owner-occupied homes, supporting teachers, and enforcing constitutional limits on government power — without PAC money, consultants, or backroom deals.

Scrolling Facebook or X?

Good — that means you’re paying attention.

Texas doesn’t need louder politicians.

It needs representatives who actually show up, read the Constitution, and vote accordingly.

If you’re tired of press releases replacing results, you’re in the right place.

WHY THIS CAMPAIGN IS DIFFERENT

✔ No corporate PAC money
✔ No consultant-driven talking points
✔ No backroom deals

This campaign exists for one reason:
To return the Texas House to its proper role — servant of the People, not manager of their lives.

This campaign is built around constitutional limits, measurable results, and direct accountability to voters — not slogans, donors, or political theater.

Dewey Collier answers directly to the people of District 5.

Classroom

TEXAS TEACHERS DESERVE RESPECT — NOT LIP SERVICE

You’re trusted with children.
You’re burdened with bureaucracy.
And you’re blamed for failures you didn’t create.

That ends here.

I support:
✔ Classroom authority
✔ Parental responsibility
✔ Budget transparency
✔ Ending administrative bloat

Teachers should teach — not manage social experiments or political mandates.

If the State keeps failing classrooms, it’s because it keeps empowering the wrong people.

VETERANS KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SERVICE AND SHOW

I served.
I understand chains of command, accountability, and consequences.

Government has forgotten all three.

Veterans don’t need speeches — we need:
✔ Competent leadership
✔ Constitutional boundaries
✔ Follow-through

You don’t salute the uniform — you honor the duty behind it.

That’s how I’ll serve in Austin.

YOUR HOME SHOULD NOT BE GOVERNMENT RENT

If you paid for your home, you should own it.

Permanent property taxes turn ownership into a lease from the State.

I support:

✔ Ending property taxes on owner-occupied homes

✔ Budget discipline instead of valuation games

✔ Restoring the truth that taxpayer money is not the Legislature’s to give — it belongs to the People

This isn’t complicated.

It’s about whether Texans own their homes — or merely occupy them at government permission.
